If your just starting to eat healthier, remember not to diet. A "Diet" means short term, eating healthier is a life style change to a healthier and fit body. Tips for beginners: clean out your refrigerator and make a new grocery list, including: condiments, spices (cinnamon, basil, etc), lean meats, lean fish (tuna), fatty fish (salmon), fruits and vegetables, and healthy foods that enhance flavor (lemon, lime, garlic, ginger). Eat 5 - 6 small meals a day and keep a record of your meals as well. Drink 8 glasses of water per day, 10+ on workout days. Take a multivitamin, and a lean protein shake. Find out how many calories per day your body needs and make sure to burn more then that at the gym. Now your on your way to eating healthier.
